The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the organization's accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards, supporting financial planning, and improving accounting processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests.
• Monitor and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve operational and financial performance.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounting as needed.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and the implementation of new accounting systems or procedures.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
