Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant at Qeep Logistics. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. They will prepare and review financial statements, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate recording of revenue and expenses related to logistics operations. The role includes monitoring compliance with accounting standards, supporting month-end and year-end close, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners on financial matters. The Accountant will also assist with audit preparation, cost analysis, and process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in general accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide clear insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional logistics and operations teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or a similar industry is beneficial.
• Comfort with remote work tools and practices, with a high degree of integrity and accountability.
