Accountant

Job Description:

• Responsible for assisting the service stations to optimize profits, and in the preparation and analysis of income statements and other accounting reports, with the end in mind of being able to monitor implantation of accounting system, procedures and controls in the site level
• Checks sales reports submitted by sites and reviews all attached documents for completeness and accuracy
• Verifies accuracy and ensures completeness of uploading of sales from POS to SAP and posts manual adjustments to erroneous sales uploads and/or un-uploaded sales as necessary
• Records cash sales deposits and credit/debit card collection in SAP
• Reviews Inventory Reconciliation Statement and assesses if nature of variance (in-plant gain/loss) is valid
• Posts ending inventory and in-plant gain/loss on a monthly basis
• Prepares various reports such as ending inventory of fuels, fuel sales volume, monthly fuel purchases, and monthly operating income as requested by line groups
• Monitors proper implementation of accounting system, procedures and controls in inventory and cash management at service stations
• Performs end-to-end bank reconciliation
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of work experience in Accounting role
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Accounting Technology or related courses/programs
• Must be proficient in MS Excel
• Preferably with CPA license
• Amenable to report in Pasig
