As our new
AP Accountant, you will be managing end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while contributing to continuous improvement of financial workflows.
What You Will Be Doing
As a key part of the Finance - Accounts Payable team, you'll create impact by Ensuring seamless financial operations that support Grundfos's mission to pioneer solutions to the world's water and climate challenges..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and in compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Manage payment runs and ensure timely settlement of supplier obligations across multiple entities
- Reconcile AP sub-ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort in AP workflows
- Collaborate with procurement and business partners to resolve invoice and purchase order mismatches
What Makes You a Great Fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and a proactive approach to process improvement. We would also imagine that you have:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and general accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes under tight deadlines
It is a plus if you also:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience working in a shared service center or multinational environment
- Familiarity with invoice automation tools or workflow management systems
