Accountant (Morning shift/Work from Home)

Job Title: Accountant / Bookkeeper (Xero Specialist)

Overview

We're looking for an experienced accountant who knows Xero inside out and can manage day-to-day finances with confidence and accuracy. You'll handle the numbers, keep everything up to date, and make sure the business has a clean, reliable set of books at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including invoices, bills, expenses and reconciliations

Maintain accurate financial records across multiple accounts

Prepare BAS, GST, and other compliance requirements (if applicable)

Run payroll and ensure all statutory obligations are met

Prepare monthly management reports and cashflow summaries

Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable

Support year-end processes and work with external accountants as needed

Set up and streamline processes in Xero for better efficiency

Monitor budgets and flag any issues or variances

Maintain organised financial documentation and support audits

Requirements

Proven experience using Xero (advanced level)

Strong accounting background with a clear understanding of accounting principles

Experience with reconciliations, payroll, reporting and compliance

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines

Comfortable working independently and communicating clearly

Experience with other tools such as Dext, Hubdoc, or similar is a bonus

Relevant accounting qualification is preferred

Work Setup:

• Remote Philippines-based
• Full-time 8 hours per day, Mondays to Fridays.
