A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE
As a
Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational goals. You will interpret both customer and vendor contracts for accurate revenue and expense recognition, support audit processes, and provide key insights to management through meaningful financial analysis.
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Interpret and understand customer and vendor contracts for accurate recording of revenues and expenses
- Prepare cost center reports, and analyze revenues and expenses per client/campaign
- Generate comparative reports on fluctuations in financial figures
- Update lead schedules in time for month-end processes
- Prepare ad hoc reports for Head Office as needed
- Verify and ensure accuracy of all cost center expenses
- Classify and prepare payroll entries and allocate expenses per cost center
- Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and prepare adjusting entries
- Provide insights through financial, operating expense, and revenue analysis
Reporting And Compliance
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly PEZA and BIR reportorial requirements
- Support the FR Supervisor with month-end reporting and analysis
Additional Responsibilities
- File financial documents in an organized manner
- Support year-end audits
- Propose and implement improvements to financial systems and processes
- Perform other related tasks as delegated by your supervisor
- Apply critical thinking when analyzing accounts and gross profit (GP) by campaign
- Operate independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
a Bit About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent (CPA preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a BPO, call center, or related industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Workday is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and high stress tolerance
- Willing to work full-time onsite in Ortigas City
