We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial transactions and long-term financial reporting. This role combines traditional bookkeeping duties such as reconciliation and ledger maintenancewith higher-level accounting tasks including financial analysis, budgeting, tax preparation/submission and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Financial Management:
Record all financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments) in a timely and accurate manner
Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts on a regular basis
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintain and balance the general ledger
Manage employee expense reports
Manage the processing of Purchase Orders and Sales Invoices.
Accounting and Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assist in budget planning and monitor actual vs. budgeted performance
