Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Ability to gather and monitor financial data.
- Organising internal audits, such as verification of sales and purchasing invoices.
- Analysing financial trends to support company strategic decisions.
- Preparation of EOFY reconciliations to provide to the external tax accountant.
- Ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions across the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Preparing, reconciling, and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analysing data from multiple financial systems.
- Basic understanding of Australian GST compliance.
ESSENTIAL / REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 to 3 years experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations.
- Excellent math skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong time-management abilities.
- High level of confidentiality.
- CA/CPA qualification is required.
- Advanced knowledge of software systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Xero.
