Job Requirements

  • Degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • With 5 years or more work experience as Accounting Supervisor preferably gained from a construction company or other business activities
  • With sound knowledge of accounting, audit and tax compliance principles and practices.
  • Well versed in financial statements preparation and analysis aligned w/ international standard and generally accepted accounting practices
  • Well versed in taxation and other government reportorial systems including latest updates and proficient in the accurate and timely preparation of compliance.
  • Well-verse in the CAS, taxation and other reportorial compliance.
  • Have strong personality and good leadership qualities
  • With good management skills, has the ability to train and lead department in its day to day processes
  • Can efficiently deal with work pressures
  • Highly professional and with good working attitude

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in compliance with Philippine accounting standards and applicable laws
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management reports for construction projects and company operations
  • Monitor project costing, including job cost tracking, cost allocation, and variance analysis versus approved budgets
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including billing, collections, and payments to suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Ensure proper recording of progress billings, retention, change orders, and project revenues
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure correct computation of salaries, statutory contributions, and project-based labor costs
  • Handle tax compliance, including preparation and filing of BIR returns, withholding taxes, VAT, and related schedules
  • Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and banks as needed
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy
  • Support management in financial planning, cash flow management, and cost control initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, construction contracts, and regulatory requirements
