The Accounts Officer drives sales and delivers on sales targets by bringing in new accounts which are advertisers that have been doing business with the less than 3 years, from database management, sourcing, initial pitch, revision, contracting, billing, collection, execution, evaluation and renewal.
- Venue Management Advertising - lead correspondence, negotiations with Advertisers, Sponsors and Partners for efficient and cost-effective delivery of required sales targets, and co-branding opportunities that will benefit SM Cinema and ensure that ROI targets are met; supports the Accounts Manager in sales plan development, sales plan execution, advertising analysis and valuation, client development, presentation and closing, monitoring of client contracted requirements; and to ensure successful implementation with the support of the Marketing and Operations Departments; set up a continuous working feedback system for tracking the likes or dislikes of our clients, with the ability for management to return answers; ensure continuous and increased amount of business & client renewal or increases budget spend on SM Cinema programs/assets; track and monitor sales team performance and report data to Vice President for Sales, Venue Management & Promotion on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Research and Analysis - initiate market research studies and analyze findings to understand customer and market opportunities for businesses
- Revenue Management - secure timely collections of payments; coordinates with Finance for budget preparation and cost estimates for a project/event.
Experience & Educational Requirements
- Graduate of any 4-year degree course: Marketing, Advertising, Entertainment Gaming, Hospitality, Business or other related course
- With relevant experience in business to business (B2B) sales in media / advertising, real estate or luxury club sales
- Preferred skills / knowledge: business acumen, problem solving analysis, strategic thinking
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; oral and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills is an advantage
