Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Food Safety Management

  • Assist in managing and maintaining the Company's Quality Management System (QMS), Food Safety Management System(FSMS), HACCP, GMP, and other food safety programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations and relevant food safety standards.
  • Develop, review, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of production, storage, and distribution facilities.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and quality requirements throughout all operations.

Quality Control Operations

  • Oversee quality control activities across all production departments, including:
  • Cheese manufacturing, Yogurt, production, Bakery products (bread, cakes, pastries), Ready-to-eat foods(salads, sandwiches, soups, sauces, etc.)
  • Monitor product quality through out receiving, production, packaging, storage, and distribution processes.
  • Conduct quality checks, inspections, and verification activities to ensure products meet established specifications and standards.
  • Review and analyse quality testing results, production records, and quality reports.
  • Investigate quality deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Export Quality Compliance &Documentation

  • Manage QA/QC documentation and quality compliance requirements for export shipments, particularly for cheese and dairy products.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain export-related quality documents, including Certificates of Analysis (COA),product specifications, laboratory reports, declarations, health certificates, and other supporting documents required by overseas customers and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure exported products comply with importing country regulations, customer specifications, and international food safety standards.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, regulatory authorities, customers, and overseas distributors to ensure export quality requirements are met.
  • Support customer audits, export audits, and regulatory inspections relating to exported products.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with SFA regulations, food labelling requirements, and internal quality standards.
  • Coordinate and support external audits, inspections, and certification programs.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records required by regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
  • Assist in maintaining food safety certifications and compliance programs.

Team Management & Training

  • Supervise and guide QA/QC personnel and production teams on food safety and quality requirements.
  • Conduct training programs on HACCP,GMP, hygiene, sanitation, and quality procedures.
  • Promote a culture of food safety,quality awareness, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Supplier & Customer Quality Management

  • Monitor supplier quality performance and support supplier qualification and evaluation programs.
  • Handle customer quality inquiries, complaints, and corrective action responses.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, production, warehouse, and distribution teams to ensure consistent product quality and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve product quality, food safety, operational efficiency, and process controls.
  • Participate in new productdevelopment, product validation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support quality-related projects and continuous improvement activities across the organization.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing, food production, dairy processing, or food processing environments.
  • Prior experience in cheese, dairy, yogurt, bakery, or ready-to-eat food production will be highly advantageous.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
