About the Role

iSupport Worldwide is seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented US Retirement Plan Administrator to support the accurate and compliant administration of U.S. qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) and Cash Balance plans. This is a technical compliance and administration position (not sales), supporting fiduciaries, advisors, CPAs, and plan sponsors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full-cycle administration for 401(k) and Cash Balance plans in compliance with IRS and Department of Labor regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive compliance testing (ADP/ACP, 402(g), 404(a), 410(b), 414(s), 415, 416 Top-Heavy).
  • Determine plan eligibility and participation, including identification of HCEs and Key Employees.
  • Calculate and process corrections, excess contributions, and lost earnings.
  • Prepare participant notices, plan amendments, restatements, and compliance deliverables.
  • Perform annual trust accounting and full trust reconciliation.
  • Prepare and review Form 5500 and 5330 filings and all required supporting schedules.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and follow established procedures and workflow standards.
  • Communicate professionally with advisors, CPAs, payroll providers, investment partners, and plan sponsors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on U.S. retirement plan administration experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of 401(k) and Cash Balance plan rules and compliance standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIFS, complex formulas).
  • Experience with retirement plan administration and compliance software (ftwilliam preferred, Relius or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in trust accounting and reconciling complex data sets.
  • Experience with contribution calculation and non-discrimination testing.
