Job Description

We are seeking a high-impact Solution Sales Specialist to drive the adoption of Zero Trust, with a strong focus on securing cloud-first environments using Zscaler solutions. In this role, you will partner with account teams to originate and close opportunities by positioning Zero Trust as the modern standard for cloud security architecture.

As a trusted advisor to customers, you will help organizations replace legacy, perimeter-based security (e.g., VPNs and appliances) with a cloud-native, Zero Trust approach that enables fast, secure access to applications, data, and the internet—anytime, anywhere. You will lead strategic conversations with security and IT leaders, translating business and risk challenges into scalable, cloud-delivered security outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive Zero Trust Sales & Deal Acceleration

  • Own and deliver solution-specific revenue targets for Zero Trust offerings (e.g., ZIA, ZPA)
  • Focus on advancing and closing strategic opportunities, improving win rates, and shortening sales cycles
  • Provide targeted support on high-value deals to drive successful outcomes

Customer Engagement & Advisory

  • Engage CISOs, security leaders, and IT stakeholders to understand business and security challenges
  • Act as both commercial lead and technical advisor, positioning Zero Trust as a strategic foundation for cloud security

Solution Positioning, Differentiation & Technical Validation

  • Articulate the value of Zscaler versus traditional VPNs and competing platforms
  • Lead end-to-end technical validation, including product demonstrations, Proof of Value (POV), and hands-on evaluations
  • Design and present solution architectures aligned to customer environments and success criteria
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes to accelerate decision making

Sales & Pre-Sales Execution

  • Own the technical sales cycle, from discovery and solution design through validation and closure
  • Partner with Account Executives and ecosystem partners while maintaining accountability for both technical win and deal progression
  • Support RFPs, proposals, and technical responses

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Stay current on Zero Trust, SSE/SASE trends, and competitive landscape
  • Provide field insights to refine messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 4–8 years of experience in enterprise technology or cybersecurity sales
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, and cloud security architectures
  • Experience selling security solutions
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders (CISO, CIO level)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience selling or positioning Zscaler or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with competitors
  • Strong storytelling and consultative selling skills
  • Experience working in matrixed sales environments
