Must-Have

Expertise in ZENA scheduler for job scheduling, monitoring, and workflow management.

Hands-on experience with batch job orchestration, job dependencies, alerts, and SLA monitoring. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve job failures, workflow errors, and production incidents. Knowledge of integration with mainframe, distributed, and hybrid workloads.

Understanding of ZENA scheduling principles including calendars, cycles, and execution windows. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts for orchestrating environment provisioning. Ability to integrate ZENA scheduling workflows with orchestration tools like Control-M, Autosys, Ansible, or enterprise orchestration platforms.

Support automation of deployment, execution, and monitoring of batch workflows across multiple environments.

Knowledge of end-to-end orchestration pipelines spanning infrastructure, applications, and workflows.

Experience with virtualized test environments supporting batch and workflow automation.

Familiarity with VMware, RHOCP other virtualization platforms for test and QA environments.

Ability to manage snapshots, cloning, and rollback of test environments to ensure repeatable testing.

Integration of virtualized test beds with automation and orchestration workflows for rapid provisioning.

Implement security controls in workflow automation and scheduling

Monitor job execution logs, alerts, and system events to detect unauthorized or anomalous activities.

Participate in vulnerability assessment, patch management, and secure configuration of scheduling environments.

Monitor workflow performance, job execution metrics, and availability Familiarity with CI/CD integration for batch workflows and orchestration pipelines.

Scripting experience in Python, Shell, or PowerShell for workflow automation and integration. Knowledge of containerized or hybrid workflows for test and production environments.

1 Manage and monitor batch jobs and workflows using ZENA Scheduler.
