Here's the role: The Xplan Expert role at 5 ELK is a full-time, on-site position based in Cebu. The Xplan Expert will manage and maintain clients Xplan environments, including data entry, workflow creation and management, template setup, and ongoing system configuration. The role involves preparing and updating client records, generating reports and advice documents, supporting financial planners with modeling and strategy inputs, and troubleshooting Xplan-related issues. The Xplan Expert will collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all Xplan processes. The position also includes documenting procedures, suggesting system improvements, and providing guidance on best practices for using Xplan in financial planning operations.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Xplan, including data management, workflow configuration, and template/report setup.
  • Experience supporting financial planning or professional services firms, with an understanding of advice processes and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling client information and documentation.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, CRM systems) and comfort working with cloud-based platforms.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both local colleagues and international clients.
  • Ability to work on-site in Cebu, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Relevant educational background in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in offshore or BPO settings and familiarity with Australian financial planning practices are advantageous.
