  • Support project teams in the implementation and maintenance of site-specific safety plans and WSH programmes.

  • Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, applicable regulations, codes of practice and other statutory requirements.

  • Liaise with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and relevant authorities on WSH matters, including factory notifications/registrations and other statutory compliance requirements.

  • Advise and support Project Managers in identifying foreseeable workplace hazards and assessing risks arising from work activities and processes.

  • Recommend and facilitate the implementation of appropriate risk control measures to eliminate or minimize workplace hazards.

  • Develop, implement and regularly review safe work procedures for soil investigation, piling, foundation and other construction-related activities.

  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify unsafe conditions, practices and areas for improvement.

  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents and near-misses, identify root causes and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

  • Prepare and follow up on reports relating to workplace injuries, property damage, incidents and losses.

  • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions arising from inspections, audits, incidents and non-conformities.

  • Work closely with project teams, employees and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to the Company's WSH policies and operational control procedures.

  • Support safety briefings, awareness programmes and other WSH initiatives where required.

  • Perform other WSH-related and ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).

  • Possess relevant MOM-recognised Workplace Safety and Health qualifications/certifications.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant WSH experience in the construction industry. Experience in piling, foundation, geotechnical or soil investigation works will be an advantage.

  • Good working knowledge of Singapore's WSH legislation, regulatory requirements and construction safety practices.

  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with Project Managers, site teams, workers and subcontractors.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage different levels of employees on workplace safety matters.

  • Practical, hands-on and comfortable working in an environment that requires regular visits to multiple project sites.

  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence. Candidates with their own transport are preferred due to the need for regular travel between project sites. A company transport allowance may be provided where the employee is required to use their own vehicle for work-related travel.

  • Candidates who are available immediately or within short notice will have an advantage
