As a Workforce Management Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring the availability, allocation, and productivity of team members across projects. You will ensure that resources are effectively deployed, aligned with business priorities, and utilized at an optimal level to support project success and organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Resource Analysis & Allocation
- Monitor and evaluate the availability of team members across ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Ensure balanced allocation of resources to avoid underutilization or overallocation.
- Track workload distribution to maintain efficiency and productivity.
Productivity & Performance Tracking
- Assess the productivity of team members in their assigned projects.
- Provide insights and reports on resource utilization, performance gaps, and workload capacity.
- Recommend adjustments to assignments to improve team effectiveness.
Forecasting & Planning
- Collaborate with Project Managers, BU Heads, and People & Culture to forecast resource needs.
- Anticipate resource constraints and propose proactive solutions.
- Support workforce planning through data-driven analysis.
Reporting & Insights
- Maintain dashboards and reports on resource deployment, utilization, and productivity trends.
- Present findings and recommendations to management for decision-making.
- Provide visibility of resource availability for current and future projects.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Business Unit Heads, Project Managers, and People & Culture teams to align staffing with project requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for resource allocation inquiries and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and policies related to workforce deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in resource management, workforce planning, or project coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, resource management tools, or project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
