Job Description

To deliver administrative support to the Workers Compensation Team to ensure an effective, economic and prompt claims service for clients.

Accountabilities

Processes & Systems

  • Undertake workers compensation claims team administration tasks in order to deliver economic liability claims outcomes for the Company
  • Follow workers compensation claims administrative processes and systems to ensure effective, economic and prompt claims service.

Operations

  • Process payments for the National Workers Compensation claims portfolio
  • Claims lodgment for the National Workers Compensation claims portfolio
  • Ensure all relevant claims documentation is scanned onto ClaimsCenter and allocated to relevant WorkCover Case Managers
  • Prepare claims confirmation letters and supplementary documents within a timely manner.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Team in all aspects of the claims process.
  • Identify and support workers compensations claims team improvements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely collation and dissemination of relevant information relating to workers compensation claims.

Regulatory & Reporting

  • Follow compliance requirements for workers compensation claims.

Service

  • Liaise with clients to ensure all supporting documentation is received in a timely manner.
  • Take opportunities to maintain positive and constructive relationships with clients, regulators, auditors and all other relevant stakeholders.

Other

  • Undertake any other duties, as required, by your line manager.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous experience in managing claims team administration within the Workers Compensation Insurance Industry (preferable).
  • Previous experience in supporting a team and conflicting priorities.
  • Proven customer service disposition.
