Workday Supply Chain Technical Developer (Workday SCM)

Job Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and enhance Workday Procurement and Inventory capabilities.
• Design and maintain Workday business processes, approvals, validations, notifications, routing, and security configurations.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, business objects, and data reconciliation solutions.
• Support and troubleshoot Workday integrations, interfaces, and data flows.
• Analyze and resolve production issues related to configurations, reporting, security, and integrations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support configuration migrations, change management, release deployments, and tenant administration.
• Create dashboards, reports, and operational controls for procurement and inventory processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on Workday technical development and configuration experience
• Experience supporting Workday Supply Chain Management
• Strong experience configuring:

Approval Routing

Notifications

Security Configurations

• Experience developing:

Custom Reports

Business Objects

Data Sources

Calculated Fields

Data Validation & Reconciliation Solutions

Hands-on experience with Workday integrations:

EIB

Workday Connectors

APIs/Web Services

• Experience troubleshooting:

Integration Failures, Security & Access Issues, Reporting Issues, Data Discrepancies, Business Process Exceptions

• Knowledge of:

Workday Security Model, Tenant Management, Change Control, Release Management, Configuration Migration, Regression Testing, Deployment Practices

• Understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Inventory Management processes
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or completed 2nd Year College and above (IT-related course preferred)

Experience with Supply Chain, Procurement, or Financial Systems

Experience supporting enterprise application environments

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
