Workday Payroll Expert – US Payroll Specialist
Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa
eClerx Philippines is looking for a Workday Payroll Expert – US Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a leading US healthcare organization.
We are seeking professionals with extensive, hands-on Workday Payroll experience and strong end-to-end US payroll processing expertise.
What You'll Do
- Process end-to-end US payroll accurately and on schedule using Workday Payroll.
- Review and validate payroll inputs, earnings, deductions, taxes, adjustments, and pay results.
- Run and analyze reports to validate payroll and investigate discrepancies.
- Perform payroll reconciliation, audits, and pre- and post-payroll validation.
- Support high-volume, multi-state US payroll and state-specific requirements.
- Handle payroll issues and employee inquiries.
- Support year-end activities, including W-2 processing.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Benefits, and other stakeholders.
- Support process documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of hands-on, end-to-end US Payroll experience - required.
- Extensive hands-on Workday Payroll experience – required.
- Experience supporting high-volume and multi-state payroll.
- Strong knowledge of:
- US payroll taxes and compliance
- FICA, Social Security, and Medicare
- Exempt vs. non-exempt classification
- Overtime and garnishments
- Payroll reconciliation
- W-2 processing
- Timekeeping/payroll integrations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- UKG Pro / UKG Workforce / Kronos experience.
- Experience supporting healthcare payroll.
- Large-scale, multi-state payroll experience.
- Payroll audit and compliance experience.
- CPP certification or equivalent.
Key Requirement
Extensive, hands-on Workday Payroll experience and end-to-end US payroll processing are required. Candidates should be able to demonstrate practical experience with Workday payroll processes, reports, transactions, validations, and payroll activities they have personally handled.
