JOB OVERVIEW
The Workday HCM Administrator will be primarily responsible for the functional design, configuration, testing and deployment of releases, and support of the Workday HCM modules. This role requires a deep functional understanding on Workday HCM to effectively manage, configure, maintain and support the HCM processes to run efficiently within the Workday system. The Workday HCM Administrator will work on configuring modules, coordinating with functional/process leads, Workday HCM users and third-party vendors, manage business processes, configure security roles, maintain data integrity, troubleshoot issues and implement updates to ensure optimal system performance and compliance.
Work shift: 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM
Work Arrangement: Fully remote
Contract duration: 3 months (with a possibility of extension)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues and defects related to Workday HR processes.
- Provide end-user support for functional and technical issues.
- Manage tasks such as correcting, rescinding, or cancelling business processes.
- Build, maintain and schedule customer reports and dashboards.
- Manage data loads and extracts.
- Manage, test, and implement bi-annual Workday releases.
- Analyze business requirements and business rules and translate it to functional design specifications and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and with third-party systems to gather and analyze requirements.
- Perform various levels of testing, including unit, system integration, and regression testing.
- Create, manage and maintain user accounts, security groups, and permissions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system.
- Monitor application performance and optimize configurations for improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT and HR process owners to optimize workflows and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Conduct research and analysis to improve and enhance system performance of HCM Core, Payroll and Recruiting, Benefits, Talent, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Reporting, and Security.
- Configure business processes and security roles to meet confidentiality and segregation of duties requirements.
- Implement end-to-end security solutions and validate data throughout the testing and deployment phases.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all Workday configurations and processes, training materials and SOPs for end-users.
- Conduct training on Workday functionalities, if necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Computer Science/Information Technology, or related field or experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in the Workday HCM Administrator role
- Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors and Web Services (REST/SOAP) knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience with ETL tools and processes
- Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes, and data structures
- Experience with various Workday HCM modules like Recruiting, HCM Core, Security, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Reporting.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Workday certifications are a plus.
