About Jardine Service Centre (JSC)

Jardine Service Centre is an organization fully owned by Jardine Matheson in Hong Kong which is a diversified Asian-based group with unsurpassed experience in the region, having been founded in China in 1832. JSC is responsible for providing back-office support to business units of Jardine Matheson (JML) by administrating transactional and rule-based activities including Finance, HR, IT and Procurement. We aim to deliver world-class services to our customers in a cost-efficient manner via process standardisation, application of state-of-the-art technologies and process simplification.

As part of Jardine Service Centre, we are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Workday Data Specialist to support our HR operations by ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our Workday system. This role requires advanced Excel skills, including automation and data cleansing, to streamline reporting and maintain data integrity across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately encode and update employee data in Workday, including new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Perform advanced data scrubbing and validation using Excel formulas and macros.
  • Automate recurring reports and data processes using Excel VBA or Power Query.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and other stakeholders to ensure timely processing of employee changes.
  • Assist in documenting data entry and automation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in data entry, HRIS, or administrative support (Workday experience preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills: formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IFERROR), pivot tables, conditional formatting, and macros/VBA. Experience with Power Query or Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
