As a Workday Business Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering both project-based initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) enhancements. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, managing change processes, and ensuring successful implementation and post-deployment support. This role involves close collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders across multiple regions to ensure that solutions align with business goals, system standards, and global structures.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, proactively drawing out requirements from stakeholders and translating these into requirements, including use cases and user stories. Adding these to the backlog.
- Map and document end-to-end as-is and to-be business processes across multiple regions.
- Assess the impact of regional requirements on the global organization structure and facilitate business sign-offs.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and escalate critical issues to senior leadership to ensure timely decision-making.
- Transition from project phases to business as usual, ensuring a seamless shift in support and change management.
- Good understanding of change management and release processes.
- Organize and manage user acceptance testing (UAT), including developing test scripts, coordinating sessions, and securing global sign-off for deployment.
- Validate functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clear acceptance criteria ahead of sprint planning meetings.
- Foster strong collaboration and communication among business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities for system and process optimization.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a minimum of 1 year focused on Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
- Proven track record managing the full project lifecycle in a structured environment.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum frameworks, with strong understanding of change and release management processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio) and Jira; familiarity with CI/CD deployments is an advantage.
- Background in projects involving multiple system interfaces, on-premise and SaaS solutions.
- Experience collaborating across multi-site or multi-time zone teams.
- Previous exposure to the technology or professional services sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Work Setup: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days wfh)
Work Schedule: Based on the project assigned (APAC/UK/US).
