We are looking for a resourceful and skilled WordPress Web Developer to join a growing in-house team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a national, content-rich website—building new pages, maintaining existing content, and ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and functionality.
You will work closely with marketing and creative teams to deliver seamless, user-friendly digital experiences that support recruitment, engagement, and brand awareness. Collaboration with IT will also be essential for managing updates, resolving technical issues, and implementing integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, update, and maintain website pages using WordPress
- Implement content updates, bug fixes, feature enhancements, and security patches
- Ensure alignment with brand standards and UX/UI best practices
- Collaborate with IT on hosting, DNS, domain management, and site performance
- Integrate and manage tracking tools (e.g., Google Tag Manager, analytics, ATS plugins)
- Apply SEO best practices and ensure mobile responsiveness across devices
- Partner with marketing and creative teams to develop landing pages and campaign content
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Stay up to date with WordPress trends, plugins, and performance optimization techniques
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing WordPress websites, ideally content-heavy or marketing-driven
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with CMS tools and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg)
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, SEO fundamentals, and form tracking
- Nice to have: Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Nice to have: Background in healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations
- Ability to collaborate with international teams while primarily working standard Manila business hours
