PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Wintel Administration
o Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO).
o Perform routine patching, updates, and system health checks.
o Monitor and troubleshoot server performance and availability.
o Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
Cloud Infrastructure Support
o Assist in managing cloud resources (Azure, AWS).
o Monitor cloud workloads and assist with provisioning and scaling.
o Support cloud backup and disaster recovery configurations.
o Maintain documentation for cloud configurations and procedures.
Backup Operations
o Administer backup tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault).
o Monitor backup jobs and resolve failures or alerts.
o Perform regular restore tests and ensure data recoverability.
o Maintain backup schedules and retention policies.
Maintenance & Monitoring
o Use monitoring tools to track system health and performance.
o Respond to incidents and service requests related to servers and backups.
o Maintain asset inventory and configuration documentation.
Security & Compliance
o Apply security patches and follow hardening guidelines.
o Support audit and compliance activities (e.g., access reviews, backup logs).
o Ensure systems meet internal and regulatory standards.

1. 10 years experience in infrastructure, 5+ years of experience in workstation build and automation
2. Self-motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession

5. Adaptability, flexibility on technology deployed and utilized through keeping updated with evolving technologies and best practices

8. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Fluent English-speaking mandatory
9. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints

o Hybrid cloud connectivity and monitoring
Backup & Recovery Tools
o Veeam Backup & Replication
o Commvault or Veritas NetBackup (as applicable)
o Backup scheduling, retention policies, and restore testing
Storage Systems
o SAN/NAS solutions (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE)
o Storage protocols: iSCSI, NFS, SMB
o Basic performance tuning and capacity monitoring
Monitoring & Management
o SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios, or equivalent
o ITSM tools (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy)
o Patch management and system health reporting
Security & Compliance
o Antivirus and endpoint protection tools
o Vulnerability scanning (Qualys, Tenable)
o Basic exposure to SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel)
Scripting & Automation
o PowerShell (basic to intermediate)
o Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus
