Job Description
A Windows & VMware Administrator manages virtualized infrastructure and server OS, typically requiring 5+ years of experience in ESXi, vCenter, and Windows Server (2019/2022) administration which include server patching, Active Directory, P2V migration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting VM performance.
Roles And Responsibilities
Virtualization Management: Install, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.
Windows Server Administration: Install and manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory (AD), GPO, DNS, and DHCP.
Patching & Upgrades: Perform regular Windows OS patching and VMware ESXi upgrades.
Migration & Provisioning: Execute P2V (Physical to Virtual) and V2V (Virtual to Virtual) migrations and create VM templates.
System Maintenance: Monitor server performance, manage datastores, and handle backups, including VMotion and DRS configuration.
Automation: Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate repetitive system administration tasks.
