As Wind Execution Project Supervisor, you will support the execution and delivery of assigned wind power project activities from construction through testing, commissioning, and turnover to Project Operations. You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, monitoring, coordination, and reporting of project execution activities to ensure that works are performed in accordance with approved scope, schedule, quality, safety, contractual, and technical requirements and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Project Development and Execution team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Construction Execution and Coordination
- Supervise and monitor civil, electrical, WTG foundation, road, transmission line, substation, logistics, WTG installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor contractor performance, manpower, equipment, productivity, material availability, site readiness, and construction progress.
- Coordinate daily and weekly activities among contractors, Engineering, Procurement, SHES, QA/QC, Operations, and other project teams.
- Identify delays, constraints, interface issues, and risks and recommend corrective or recovery actions for escalation to the Wind Execution Manager/Project Manager.
Schedule, Cost, and Contract Monitoring
- Monitor actual progress against approved schedules, milestones, work plans, and contractor commitments.
- Validate construction accomplishments, quantities, progress claims, and supporting documents.
- Assist in monitoring variations, claims, change requests, schedule impacts, and other contractual matters.
- Support preparation of project progress, schedule, cost, and management reports.
Engineering, Quality, and Safety
- Review drawings, method statements, technical submittals, RFIs, and design changes from an execution and constructability perspective.
- Coordinate resolution of technical and construction issues with contractors, consultants, OEMs, and Engineering.
- Ensure works are implemented in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, inspection and testing requirements.
- Coordinate closure of NCRs, quality observations, punch lists, safety concerns, environmental issues, and corrective actions.
- Promote compliance with project SHES, quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Contractor and Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the day-to-day execution interface with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
- Participate in progress, construction, schedule, safety, quality, and coordination meetings.
- Track contractor commitments, deliverables, action items, and agreed completion dates.
- Maintain effective coordination across civil, electrical, WTG, logistics, transmission, substation, and other project interfaces.
Testing, Commissioning, and Turnover
- Support construction completion, testing, commissioning, punch list closure, and turnover activities.
- Monitor readiness requirements and completion of inspection records, test results, as-built drawings, manuals, certificates, warranties, and turnover documents.
- Track outstanding construction, technical, quality, and documentation issues through closure.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare accurate construction progress reports, action trackers, issue logs, risk updates, and other project records.
- Provide timely updates on progress, contractor performance, schedule, quality, safety, and key project risks.
- Support lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
Others
- Performs other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as may be assigned or required by the Team Leader, Project Manager, Management, or the organization from time to time, provided that such duties are consistent with the nature of the position and the objectives of the project.
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
- Have at least two to three years of experience in construction supervision or project execution, preferably in renewable energy or wind power projects.
- Have experience in construction monitoring, schedule tracking, contractor coordination, quality control, safety compliance, progress reporting, and resolution of site issues.
- Have experience coordinating with EPC Contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, OEMs, and field construction teams.
- Have working knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, QA/QC procedures, safety requirements, project controls, permitting, and basic contract administration.
- Experience supporting projects through construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover to operations.
- Exposure to EPC contracts, variation/change management, progress claims, and basic claims or commercial evaluation.
- Experience coordinating with OEMs, Owner's Engineers, contractors, consultants, government agencies, grid/interface parties, and other project stakeholders.
- Familiarity with renewable energy permitting, grid connection requirements, environmental and social compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience using scheduling tools, project management systems, document control platforms, dashboards, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering applications.
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in power plant engineering, construction, project execution, EPC projects, or major infrastructure/capital projects.
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office/Google Workspace, project dashboards, document control systems, and other relevant engineering or project management tools.
- Ability to prepare and interpret construction progress reports, schedules, technical documents, drawings, trackers, and management presentations.
