Fully competent to perform all positions on a minimum of two or more production lines in the facility
Position will assist in the training and orienting of new employees
Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to responsibilities
Oversee day to day team needs
Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements, MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings for tube
Weld and repair door assemblies and sub-components using the GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) and GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) processes to meet customer and internal quality standards
Assures parts comply to drawing specifications
Clean weld splatter and metal finish parts as required
Possess a good working knowledge of all welding procedures and applicable equipment
Licensing or Certifications
List any licenses or certifications required by the position: D1, D17.1, AWS, GTAW, GMAW, NADCAP, TIG
Education
Diploma degree required
Relevant degree such as High School and Associate Degree in Welding, Technical, General Education, Education, Associates, Military, Engineering, Graduate, Manufacturing, Science
