Job Summary
The Welder is responsible for cutting, assembling, and welding metal parts and structures according to specifications and technical drawings. The role ensures that all welded components meet quality standards and are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication of metal parts and structures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
- Prepare materials and equipment before welding operations.
- Operate welding equipment such as electric, MIG, or TIG welders.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and strength.
- Repair damaged metal parts or structures when necessary.
- Follow safety procedures and proper use of welding equipment.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Assist in fabrication and assembly of metal products when required.
Qualifications
- At least High School Graduate or Vocational Course related to Welding.
- With experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Knowledgeable in different welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Responsible, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
