Duties and Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute a comprehensive website growth strategy across SEO and CRO.
- Set measurable goals for organic traffic, conversions, and revenue contribution.
- Align website growth initiatives with overall business objectives in partnership with marketing, product, and tech teams.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
- Own the SEO roadmaptechnical SEO, on-page, off-page, and local search (GEO/MEO).
- Lead keyword research, content optimization, and link-building strategies to drive organic growth.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and implement best practices.
- Oversee site audits, indexation, crawlability, and structured data implementation.
- Develop reporting frameworks to track SEO KPIs (rankings, visibility, traffic, conversions).
- Manage and direct the SEO agency, setting strategy, reviewing performance, and ensuring delivery on KPIs.
CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
- Develop and execute CRO strategy focused on improving user journeys and funnel efficiency.
- Run structured A/B and multivariate testing programs on landing pages, CTAs, product pages, and checkout flows.
- Use analytics, heatmaps, and user behavior insights to reduce drop-offs and improve conversions.
- Optimize website performance (speed, mobile usability, UX/UI) to maximize conversions.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to implement high-converting layouts and messaging.
- Lead the CRO agency, ensuring testing programs, reporting, and outcomes align with business goals.
Analytics & Insights
- Own website analytics setup (GA4, Shopify Analytics, CRO/SEO tools) to track performance.
- Monitor attribution, traffic sources, and conversion trends to identify growth levers.
- Deliver regular reporting and insights to leadership with actionable recommendations.
Team & Vendor Management
- Mentor internal SEO/CRO specialists and guide cross-functional contributors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external SEO and CRO agencies, driving accountability and integration with internal teams.
- Ensure consistent alignment with creative, brand, and paid media teams for holistic growth execution.
Qualification
- Proven experience leading website growth strategy (SEO + conversion rate optimization) with measurable impact on traffic, conversions, and revenue.
- Strong expertise in technical, on-page, and off-page SEO (site audits, crawlability, structured data).
- Hands-on experience running A/B testing and improving user journeys and funnel performance.
- Proficient in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and website performance tracking.
- Experience managing SEO and conversion rate optimization agencies.
- Strong data analysis and KPI reporting skills.
