Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Webmaster based in Cebu, Philippines to manage, maintain, and optimize our company website built on Storyblok, a headless CMS platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within a modern content management environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring a seamless, high-performing web experience.
This role owns day-to-day website operations, including coordinating with development teams for technical enhancements and supporting marketing initiatives that drive traffic, engagement, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company website using Storyblok as the primary headless CMS
- Create, update, and publish web content using Storyblok's Visual Editor and component-based block system
- Build and manage reusable content components (bloks) to ensure consistent, scalable content delivery
- Establish and maintain content governance standards, including naming conventions, content structure, and component reuse best practices
- Collaborate with developers on front-end frameworks integrated with Storyblok (e.g., Next.js, Nuxt.js, or React)
- Coordinate with development teams on releases, technical updates, and issue resolution to support ongoing site improvements
- Monitor website performance, uptime, and analytics, providing regular reports and recommendations
- Track and improve key website KPIs, including page load speed, engagement metrics, SEO rankings, and overall site performance
- Manage Storyblok spaces, workflows, roles, and user permissions
- Implement and maintain SEO best practices within Storyblok's SEO fields and metadata management
- Support conversion optimization efforts by implementing and updating landing pages, CTAs, and user flows aligned with marketing goals
- Troubleshoot and resolve content rendering issues, broken links, and CMS-related bugs
- Conduct QA testing prior to publishing to ensure accuracy, functionality, and cross-browser/device compatibility
- Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives to improve user experience and conversion performance
- Coordinate with designers to translate mockups into Storyblok-compatible page layouts
- Interpret design files (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) to accurately implement layouts within the CMS
- Ensure website security, SSL certificates, and compliance with WCAG accessibility and data privacy regulations, including the Philippines Data Privacy Act (RA 10173)
- Coordinate with IT and security teams to manage vulnerabilities, updates, and compliance requirements
- Maintain content backups and support disaster recovery procedures
- Stay current with Storyblok platform updates, new features, and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, Marketing, or equivalent experience — degrees from recognized Philippine universities (e.g., USC, UV, CIT-U, UC) are welcome
- 3–5+ years of experience in website management, CMS administration, or similar roles
- Hands-on experience with Storyblok or a similar headless CMS (Contentful, Sanity, etc.)
- Solid understanding of HTML and CSS; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus
- Understanding of headless CMS architecture and API-driven content delivery
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Familiarity with SEO principles and metadata management
- Strong ability to manage digital assets and structured content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Storyblok's REST or GraphQL Content Delivery API
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks commonly paired with Storyblok (Next.js, Nuxt.js, React, Vue.js)
- Knowledge of Storyblok's field types, datasources, and multi-language/localization features
- Experience with webhooks, Storyblok workflows, and third-party integrations (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, analytics tools)
- Basic understanding of version control (Git) and deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools or experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize alternatives)
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals and website performance optimization techniques
- Experience with CDNs (e.g., Cloudflare) or performance optimization tools is a plus
- Ability to interpret (not necessarily create) design assets using Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working for a US company and understanding the B2B Buyer
