Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Webflow Developer to build, maintain, and optimize responsive, high-performing websites. In this role, you will be responsible for translating creative UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, interactive Webflow builds. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Webflow's native capabilities, CMS architecture, and custom interactions, along with the ability to write custom code when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Development: Build, test, and deploy fully responsive, accessible websites using Webflow.
- Design Implementation: Translate UI/UX design wireframes and high-fidelity mockups (from Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) into functional Webflow pages.
- CMS Management: Architect and manage Webflow CMS collections, ensuring dynamic content is easy for non-technical team members to update.
- Animations & Interactions: Implement engaging, seamless animations and scroll effects using Webflow Interactions 2.0.
- Custom Coding: Write custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to extend Webflow's functionality and integrate third-party APIs or tools when native features are insufficient.
- Optimization: Ensure SEO best practices, lightning-fast page load speeds, and seamless cross-browser/cross-device compatibility.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct regular website audits, fix bugs, and continuously improve site architecture and performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven professional experience as a Webflow Developer with a strong, verifiable portfolio of live Webflow sites.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in the Webflow platform, including its Designer, CMS, and Interactions.
- Coding Skills: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and foundational JavaScript.
- Design Handoff: Experience collaborating with designers and working seamlessly with tools like Figma.
- SEO & Performance: Working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals, web accessibility (WCAG) standards, and performance optimization techniques.
- Core Traits: High attention to detail (pixel-perfect mentality), excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)
- Familiarity with standard Webflow frameworks and naming conventions (e.g., Finsweet's Client-First, Relume Library).
- Experience with automation and integration tools like Zapier, Make, or Wized.
- E-commerce experience, either natively within Webflow or via integrations like Shopify/Shopify Buy Button.
