Location: Manila Remote/Hybrid

Reporting to: Webfares Team Lead

The Role

As a Webfares Agent at Goway Travel, your primary responsibility is to ensure accurate and efficient management of travel bookings, including quotes, cancellations, and changes. You&aposll work within the TravelBox system and GDS to manage daily queues, resolve fare discrepancies, and ensure that client requests are handled promptly and professionally. Youll also follow up with clients to confirm bookings, handle payment verifications, and provide excellent customer service throughout. Your work will directly support the smooth operation of the travel services provided by Goway Travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure all quotes are properly entered into in-house reservation system (TravelBox), with all notes advising rules of ticketing deadline, changes and cancelation penalties.
  • To ensure all Queues (GDS and TravelBox) are checked and cleared daily. (ex. Schedule changes, cancelled flights, HX segments, and various GDS segment updates.
  • To ensure all PNRs/TravelBox files have been properly remarked with action or information notes, every time you speak with a client or travel agent.
  • All quotes and bookings are followed up with a phone call to ensure agent/client has received and understand what was quoted.
  • All quotes are followed up to ensure the sale is closed.
  • All Agents/clients are asked at time of booking for: seats, meals, rewards, and frequency miles numbers.
  • Errors on fares in either GDS or TravelBox are immediately reported to your Team lead or manager.
  • You are properly logged into your phone for your entire shift time. (ex. Available status is set)
  • All calls are handled professionally using appropriate business etiquette the up most professional care. No calls are to be transferred to voicemail only warm transfers, plus all bookings are handled with the same care as if they were your own.
  • All requests are taken care of same day, includes quotes, changes, and complainants.
  • Invoices, commission refunds, E-tickets are sent out same day ticket has been issued or full payment has been made on file.
  • All script notes for re-issues, new tickets and refunds are properly filled in before queuing to ticketing.
  • Route specific assignment will be assigned to ensure we are competitive and up to date.
  • All Credit card payments and check payments are verified to ensure details are correct before issuing.
  • All booking (fares) are verified before accepting payments.
  • Additionally to your daily responsibilities, you will also be assigned certain queue management responsibilities.
  • Expected to attend onsite and offsite training seminars.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor&aposs/College Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Amadeus
  • 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Travelbox/TravCom reservation systems are an asset.
  • Understand how to fare construct using net, published, and private fares within GAW (internal contract management system), GDS, and TravelBox
  • Previous experience in handling corporate clients is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skill.
  • Strong knowledge on World geography.
  • Strong knowledge of airline routings.
  • Strong sales ability.
  • Superior internal and external customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Understand how to action queues within GDS.
