Description
We're hiring a client-facing Web Optimization Developer to help Lofty clients turn template-based websites into high-performing, hyperlocal lead-generation tools.
You will work directly with real estate agents, teams, and brokerages. You'll lead website conversations, understand their market and feature areas, and customize Lofty website templates to support buyer, seller, and homeowner journeys.
This role focuses on experience, conversion, and clarity. All work is done within the Lofty platform using built-in tools and limited HTML and CSS for design and layout customization.
Requirements
Work Directly With Clients
- Lead website strategy calls with Lofty clients
- Understand client markets, feature areas, and target locations
- Translate goals into realistic website customizations
- Clearly explain platform capabilities and limitations
Customize Template-Based Websites
- Adapt standard Lofty templates to match client branding
- Build and refine hyperlocal pages for cities, ZIP codes, and neighborhoods
- Improve layout, spacing, hierarchy, and visual flow
- Ensure sites feel professional, modern, and easy to use
Improve Conversion
- Optimize calls to action, lead forms, and registration flows
- Design clear buyer, seller, and homeowner journeys
- Ensure chat, CTAs, and contact options are placed intentionally
Mobile-First Execution
- Ensure all templates and pages work cleanly on mobile
- Fix layout and interaction issues across devices
- Confirm lead capture works consistently
Template and Platform Collaboration
- Work inside Lofty's website builder and CMS
- Apply limited HTML and CSS changes for design only
- Maintain and improve reusable website templates
- Partner with backend and product teams to expand and refine ready-to-use templates for clients
- Collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, Customer Success, and DMA teams
What You Bring
- Strong HTML and CSS fundamentals
- Basic JavaScript for simple UI behavior
- Experience working within closed SaaS website platforms
- Strong UX and conversion-focused mindset
- Comfort leading client conversations and managing expectations
- Ability to work within structured, template-based systems
Strong Plus (Real Estate Focus)
- Experience with real estate platforms such as kvCORE, BoomTown, CINC, Real Geeks, or Sierra Interactive
- IDX-powered website experience
- Understanding hyperlocal real estate marketing and feature-area pages
- Experience working directly with real estate agents or teams
- Familiarity with real estate lead capture and registration flows
