Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Web Development Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of web development and digital projects. This role works closely with developers, designers, leadership, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, within scope, and aligned with client objectives.
The Web Development Project Manager is responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, serving as a key point of coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of web development project scopes, requirements, and deliverables
- Collaborate with clients to gather website content, required assets, approvals, and inputs
- Strategize and recommend solutions aligned with client business needs
- Define project scope and assist with pricing when required
- Create and maintain clear project briefs for development and design teams
- Track, monitor, and report on project progress, timelines, and deliverables
- Coordinate with leadership to manage milestones, deadlines, and resource planning
- Lead and participate in client meetings, document discussions, and coordinate next steps
- Maintain ongoing communication with client stakeholders to address requests, changes, and concerns
- Assist with website content entry and updates when necessary
- Support quality assurance efforts, including functionality and content testing
- Participate in departmental and project-related meetings
- Follow established workflows, processes, and documentation standards
- Utilize project management tools to track tasks, progress, and dependencies
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with WordPress CMS
- Proven experience using project management tools such as Asana, Basecamp, or similar platforms
- Experience coordinating web development and digital marketing projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success in client-facing or customer-facing roles
- Ability to evaluate web deliverables against design, content, and functional requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of ownership, responsibility, and initiative
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail with strong time and priority management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and HTML
- Understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics
