Do you have the skills to build a digital home for a company on a mission My Mountain Mover is looking for an expert Website Developer to be the architect of our online presence!

In this vital role, you won't just be coding; you'll be bringing our vision to life. You'll implement, maintain, and optimize our suite of WordPress websites, turning approved designs into pixel-perfect, high-performance sites. We're looking for someone who understands that a great website isn't just about looksit's about speed, clean code, and being easily found by both people and AI-driven platforms like ChatGPT and Bard.

Key Responsibilities:

1. WordPress Development & Maintenance

You will build and manage responsive websites using WordPress and WP Bakery, ensuring every design is implemented flawlessly. Your responsibilities will include managing plugin governance, creating backups, and using staging environments to test before going live. A key part of your job will be to optimize our sites for speed, compress media, and fix any layout or responsiveness bugs to deliver a seamless user experience.

2. Technical SEO Skills

You'll be the champion of our online visibility. Your expertise will be used to apply semantic HTML and header hierarchies for strong SEO and chatbot indexing. You'll implement essential schema markup (e.g., FAQ, article) and ensure all metadata, alt tags, and internal linking are structured to maximize our visibility and search rankings.

3. Conversion Optimization & Tracking

You'll help us turn visitors into team members. This includes setting up A/B test variants, implementing Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) changes, and optimizing CTAs and navigation paths based on data to improve user journeys and conversion rates.

What We're Looking For:

You're a clean and efficient developer who can take a design and bring it to life with precision. You have a deep understanding of how to structure sites not just for traditional SEO, but for a world where AI-driven platforms are the new way people find information. You're quick to troubleshoot in staging or live environments and know how to optimize sites for speed without relying on excessive plugins.

Must-Have Qualifications:

3+ years of WordPress development experience.

Fluent in WordPress, WP Bakery, HTML5, CSS3, and Gutenberg.

Experience working in hosting environments like WP Engine or Kinsta.

Comfortable with staging workflows and the fundamentals of technical SEO.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with AI-indexed optimization (structured data, schema, voice search).

A background in working with healthcare or recruiting websites.

Success Metrics (First 6 Months):

Successfully launch our core websites with a focus on functionality and optimization.

Significantly improve site speed and accessibility scores (Google Lighthouse benchmarks).

Build reusable WP Bakery components and template systems.

Ensure core pages are perfectly structured for visibility in both Google and AI chatbot platforms.
