Overview
We are looking for a Web Designer to support a U.S.-based team with website design, ongoing edits, and overflow design work.
This role will focus on creating landing pages, website pages, and digital assets that are visually consistent, responsive, and designed with conversion and usability in mind. The ideal candidate understands core UI/UX principles, can work within established brand and design systems, and is comfortable managing design tickets and revisions while meeting deadlines.
Applicants must be able to provide a portfolio or work samples showing relevant web design or UI/UX work.
Key Responsibilities
• Design landing pages, website pages, and digital assets based on creative briefs and brand guidelines
• Apply UI/UX principles such as visual hierarchy, contrast, whitespace, readability, accessibility, and effective CTA placement
• Create responsive designs optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Design website layouts, logos, and branding assets aligned with established brand direction and target audiences
• Work within and maintain design systems in Figma, including local styles and components
• Complete website edits, design tickets, revisions, and overflow design requests
• Organize design files and assets using established naming and filing conventions
• Communicate proactively about project status, revisions, questions, and delivery timelines
• Review and QA completed work before submission
Required Skills and Experience
• 0 to 18 months of experience in web design, UI/UX design, or a related role
• Agency experience is preferred
• Proficiency with Claude Design or equivalent design tools
• Working knowledge of Figma, including local styles, components, and design system maintenance
• Understanding of UI/UX principles, including hierarchy, contrast, whitespace, CTA design, readability, and accessibility
• Experience creating responsive web layouts
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative briefs accurately
• Strong communication skills and consistent follow-through
• Ability to prioritize work, manage deadlines, and take ownership of assigned projects
• Basic HTML and SEO knowledge is a plus
• Experience with conversion-focused landing page design is preferred
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating web design, UI/UX, landing page, or responsive website design experience
Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits
• Full-time remote opportunity
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, schedule to be confirmed
• Starts at $7 USD/hour, with a possibility of a pay increase from a performance evaluation
• Must have a reliable device, stable internet connection, and quiet remote work setup.
