The
Wealth Segments and Products Head role leads the Wealth Segments & Products strategy, offering, and commercial performance to drive growth of affluent and high-net-worth (HNW) customers. Oversees product design, customer value propositions, pricing, portfolio management, and relationship delivery models, ensuring profitability, market competitiveness, and regulatory compliance.
Duties And Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and execute segment strategy to drive acquisition, portfolio growth, and retention of affluent/HNW customers.
- Build segment-specific customer value propositions, pricing, and bundled offerings.
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor moves; recommend responses.
Product & Proposition Management
- Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of wealth products (investment, bancassurance, deposits, lending).
- Ensure competitive offering design based on customer needs, risk appetite, and regulatory parameters.
- Partner with investment and product teams to enhance product shelf and advisory tools.
Customer Experience & Delivery Model
- Define segment-tailored delivery and servicing models (e.g., RMs, digital, hybrid).
- Set standards for customer journey, onboarding, advisory, communication, and servicing.
- Drive digital enablement for wealth customers in collaboration with channels and tech teams.
Portfolio & Financial Management
- Manage P&L of the wealth segment; ensure revenue, profitability, deposit growth, investment penetration, and cross-sell targets.
- Track segment performance metrics and proactively drive improvement actions.
- Monitor risk indicators; ensure alignment with internal risk appetite.
Sales & Channel Enablement
- Partner with distribution channels to drive RM capability, sales discipline, and productivity.
- Design incentive schemes aligned with segment priorities.
- Enable training, advisory capability, and tools for relationship teams.
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing segment team.
- Ensure strong collaboration with Product, Distribution, Marketing, Risk, and Operations.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure regulatory compliance (KYC, suitability/appropriateness, conduct).
- Oversee risk management and internal controls across segment activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years in wealth management, private banking, investments, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and advisory models as well as direct competitors products and services
- Track record in commercial strategy, segment management, and P&L ownership.
- Leadership and stakeholder management experience.
