About The Role
The
Wealth Acquisitions Manager is responsible for acquiring new-to-bank deposit clients with at least USD 100,000 in assets under management for UnionBank Wealth Management Business serving affluent individuals. This role uncovers client needs, aligns clients with suitable banking solutions, and connects clients to investment and insurance brokerage partners to help them achieve their financial goals.
What You'll Do
- Acquire new-to-bank clients for the Wealth Management arm of the bank
- Refer new clients to the investment team for risk profiling and financial needs analysis
- Ensure strong controls throughout the entire account opening process
- Deliver a remarkable experience to clients at every touchpoint
- Collaborate effectively with internal partners and operate as a strong team player
Key Performance Indicator
- Consistent delivery of required Wealth new-to-bank accounts and new-to-investment conversions
- Achievement of target prospecting calls to affluent prospects
- Delivery of a superior client experience with zero valid customer complaints
- Strong adherence to controls with no compliance or HR-related cases
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Solid sales experience, ideally in wealth management or financial services
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong ability to build, manage, and grow client relationships
- With an existing client network or portfolio is an advantage
- Certified in finance-related fields (e.g., Investment, Wealth Management, or equivalent) is preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
