Water Mitigation Claims & Job Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Answer and place calls with customers, insurance companies, and adjusters throughout the mitigation process
• Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters regarding mitigation estimates, invoices, supplements, and line-item reductions
• Submit estimates, photos, drying logs, equipment tracking documentation, signed authorizations, and invoices to carriers
• Follow up on pending claim approvals, supplements, adjusters reviews, and outstanding payments
• Use Albi to track job statuses, manage schedules, assign tasks, document notes, and coordinate follow-ups
• Coordinate technician schedules, customer appointments, property inspections, and equipment checks
• Audit job files for complete documentation and compliance prior to final billing submission
• Maintain ongoing proactive communication with homeowners to keep them updated on job progress
• Track unpaid invoices and assist with accounts receivable follow-up and collections
• Escalate major claim disputes or settlement impasses to management

Qualifications

• Prior experience in water mitigation, property restoration, insurance claims, or claims coordination
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with Xactimate estimating software and Albi restoration management software
• Strong phone presence and confidence negotiating mitigation scopes, invoices, and supplements with insurance adjusters
• High attention to detail with proven persistence in managing claim documentation and receivables follow-up
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multi-stage restoration job files and daily technician schedules
