Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Support: The primary objective of the department is to accommodate wastewater from different sources to avoid any delays in manufacturing operations.
- Water Treatment Operations: Supports the Supervisor of the department in the over-all supervision of the WTP department. Implements the approved wastewater treatment procedures, ensure completeness of filling out data sheets, monitors chemical consumption and cycle time.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensures proper operation of equipment in the work area and immediately report defects for proper action and to avoid delays due to in-operable equipment.
- Environment, Health and Safety: Helps maintain clean and safe department and for compliance with the company's EHS rules, procedures and regulations.
Education & Experience
- High school or Vocational Course graduate or College level. (or relevant experience) preferred.
Skills

- In-depth knowledge in general services functions/activities, procedures and work instructions & extensive knowledge in chemicals (properties, handling, etc.)
- Familiarity with PEZA and DENR rules on waste management.
- Has the ability to communicate effectively to his/her superior.
- Can adapt and adjust quickly to changes especially in work related problems.
- Must communicate effectively in Filipino and conversant in the English language.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
Working Conditions
- This role is 100% onsite
- Working conditions are normal for a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 25 kg.
- Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment and personnel protection equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes/boots and hardhats.
- Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted to be worn.
