The Warranty Processor is responsible for the efficient review, analysis, and processing of vehicle warranty claims. This role works closely with manufacturers, suppliers, technicians, and service advisors to ensure accurate documentation, technical validation, and compliance with warranty policiesmaximizing claim approval rates and timely reimbursements.
Key Responsibilities
- Warranty Claims Processing
Review and validate warranty claims for accuracy, eligibility, and compliance with manufacturer guidelines
Ensure completeness of documentation prior to submission
Monitor claim approval rates and address discrepancies
Analyze failure modes and identify root causes of warranty issues
Prepare and submit Technical Audio-Video (TAV) Reports and Technical Reports (TR)
Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to support claim approval
- Documentation & Verification
Verify repair orders, part numbers, labor times, and required attachments
Ensure all claims meet manufacturer documentation standards to avoid rejections
- Compliance & Policy Adherence
Stay updated on manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and coding requirements
Cascade Honda Technical Information and MARIZ updates to the service team
- Coordination & Collaboration
Work closely with technicians and service advisors to confirm repair accuracy
Provide feedback and guidance to improve warranty claim accuracy and efficiency
- Claim Follow-up & Reconciliation
Track pending and denied claims and provide required clarifications or additional documents
Prepare and submit monthly warranty claim reports
Regularly update the Aftersales Manager on claim status and common issues
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or a related course
- Knowledge of warranty claim procedures and manufacturer requirements
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Familiarity with manufacturer warranty systems and technical reports
- Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines
