Job Description

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff
Ensure accurate receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stocks or cycle counts
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in the warehouse
Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and warehouse policies
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of shipments and deliveries
Assist in the training and development of warehouse personnel
Resolve day-to-day issues such as delays, equipment problems, and discrepancies
Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and other departments for efficient operations
Track performance metrics (e.g., order accuracy, dispatch time, staff productivity)

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field is preferred
Minimum of 23 years of supervisory experience in warehouse/logistics operations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Experience in a Fast-paced warehouse or distribution center setting is an advantage
