Job Description

Supervise and manage a team of warehouse staff, including warehouse workers, sorters, and other support staff
Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and safety
Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, including inventory levels, shipping and receiving rates, and order fulfillment rates
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and guidance to warehouse staff
Develop and implement training programs to improve warehouse staff skills and knowledge
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, including filling in for absent staff and covering breaks

Requirements And Skills

Preferably Associates or Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse or related role, demonstrating a successful track record of meeting performance targets.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, essential for effectively managing warehouse operations and personnel.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a dedicated focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, including proficiency in inventory management, shipping, and receiving procedures.
Proven ability to motivate and manage a team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment and maximizing productivity.
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure efficient workflow.
Physical capability to lift heavy objects / equipment fulfilling the demands of the job while adhering to safety protocols.
