Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, track and update warehouse inventory using system.
Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing orders accurately and timely. Process documents related to goods in and goods out.
Inspecting and Testing Parts: inspect parts requested, ensure all parts are in good condition. Test returned In Warranty Parts.
Organization: Keep the warehouse well-organized to enable easy location of items. This includes regularly updating the inventory system, labelling items, and maintaining a clean working environment.
Safety Compliance: Comply with all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This includes wearing proper safety gear and following safety protocols.
Quality Control: Conduct routine checks and maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Communication: Coordinate with other departments like sales and customer service to ensure efficient operations. Address any issues or discrepancies that arise with supervisors or other team members.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse activities and inventory levels.
Job Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field can be a plus.
Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment, ideally in spare parts or a related industry.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with warehouse systems and operations, including inventory management systems. Basic understanding of motorcycle or bicycle spare parts and their functions.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items and remain on your feet for extended periods of time.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and track inventory, including restocking and organizing warehouse for easy access.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring correct parts are picked for orders, tracking inventory accurately, and noticing any discrepancies or issues.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and potentially customers or suppliers.
Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills for tracking inventory, logging operations, and corresponding with other staff.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve issues that might come up during the warehouse operations.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines within a warehouse environment to prevent accidents and injuries.
