The Warehouse Resource Planner is responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of supply, capacity, and budgeting activities that keep warehouse operations running at peak efficiency.
Working closely with the Warehouse Resource Planning Lead, this role translates demand signals into accurate resource plans, builds and monitors capacity models, and ensures that cost targets are tracked and met. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of data, operations, and financial discipline — someone who can turn complex datasets into clear, actionable planning outputs.

Job Description
Supply Planning
- Develop, maintain, and regularly update supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and operational requirements
- Translate order volume projections into actionable resource requirements across packaging, manpower, and logistics categories
- Monitor supply-demand alignment and flag gaps or risks in a timely manner for escalation to the Planning Lead
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (WRM, Warehouse, S&D) to align supply plans with actual operational flow
- Maintain accuracy of supply planning trackers and ensure data integrity across planning tools
Capacity Planning
- Build and maintain capacity models to project warehouse utilization across key operational categories
- Analyze historical and forward-looking volume data to assess vendor capacity and constraints
- Identify risks such as overcapacity, underutilization, or workforce gaps and recommend mitigation actions
- Support scenario planning to prepare for peak periods, campaign surges, and volume fluctuations
- Collaborate with the Warehouse team to validate capacity assumptions against ground-level operational reality
Budgeting & Cost Management
- Support the preparation and monitoring of warehouse resource budgets across manpower, packaging, logistics, and facilities
- Track actual spend versus plan on a regular cadence and surface variances with root cause analysis
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and present data-backed recommendations to the Planning Lead
- Coordinate with Finance / FP&A on budget submissions, reforecasts, and cost reporting requirements
- Ensure budget trackers and financial models are maintained with up-to-date, accurate data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in supply chain planning, warehouse operations, capacity planning, or financial budgeting within an operations or logistics environment.
- Strong foundation in supply planning, demand forecasting, and capacity modeling.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), SQL, or ERP systems is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable working with large, complex operational datasets and translating them into clear insights.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
- High attention to detail with strong process discipline and systems thinking.
- Effective communicator and collaborator — able to align with cross-functional teams including Warehouse, Finance, and S&D.
- Self-driven with strong ownership mindset and the ability to manage multiple planning workstreams simultaneously.
- Proactive in identifying planning gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
