The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading and integrating the company's online retail operations with warehouse, inventory, logistics, and fulfillment functions. This role ensures a seamless customer journey from online purchase through order fulfillment and delivery while driving operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, sales growth, and customer satisfaction.
The role oversees the day-to-day management of the E-Commerce platform, warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and cross functional collaboration with Marketing, Customer Service, Merch, and Sales to support business growth.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
E-Commerce Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the e commerce platform, including product, inventory synchronization
- Optimize website performance, navigation, search functionality, checkout process, and mobile responsiveness to improve customer experience
- Monitor website functionality and coordinate with BD or third-party providers to resolve technical issues promptly
Warehouse Operations
- Plan, organize, and oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatching, and order fulfillment
- Ensure warehouse operations consistently meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures and operational improvements
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage utilization, equipment usage, and workflow efficiency
- Monitor warehouse productivity and operational performance against established KPIs
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records across warehouse and online sales platforms
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts and stock audits, and investigate discrepancies
- Ensure inventory synchronization between warehouse management systems and E-Commerce platforms
- Forecast inventory requirements in coordination with Merch and Sales teams
- Develop inventory control strategies that improve stock accuracy and reduce losses
Order Fulfillment and Logistics
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely, complete, and accurate fulfillment of online orders
- Manage transportation, shipping, and delivery operations while optimizing logistics costs
- Coordinate with courier partners, freight providers, and third-party logistics companies
- Monitor fulfillment performance, shipping accuracy, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction
- Resolve fulfillment, shipping, and delivery issues promptly
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, and e commerce teams
- Manage recruitment, workforce planning, scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Set individual and team performance goals aligned with business objectives
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, and E-Commerce processes
- Lead operational improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer experience
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures across warehouse and e commerce functions
- Support automation and digital transformation initiatives
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct warehouse inspections, safety audits, and operational reviews
- Ensure warehouse facilities, equipment, and systems are properly maintained
- Protect inventory and company assets through effective warehouse security and inventory control measures
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to execute promotional campaigns and product launches
- Collaborate with Merchandising to ensure product availability
- Work closely with Customer Service to resolve customer concerns and improve service levels
- Coordinate with Finance on inventory valuation, reporting, and operational costs
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of leadership experience in warehouse operations, logistics, fulfillment, or e commerce management
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, logistics, and supply chain operations
- Experience managing Shopify, Tiktok, Lazada, Shopee, or similar e commerce platforms
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems, CRM platforms, and Google Analytics
- Excellent analytical, project management, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and business analytics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willing to travel as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Supply Chain Management, Digital Commerce, or Project Management
- Experience with retail operations
- Experience managing third party logistics providers and marketplace integrations
- Experience leading digital transformation and E-Commerce optimization projects
