Warehouse Manager (Expatriate)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products. The role includes managing warehouse staff, optimizing operational efficiency, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse operations to support the company's overall goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage warehouse staff to ensure high performance, adherence to company policies, and a safe working environment.

• Storage Planning: Plan and optimize storage space within the warehouse to maximize utilization and improve operational efficiency.

• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels by implementing effective control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; conduct regular safety training and audits to promote a safe workplace.

• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase overall warehouse efficiency.

• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse equipment is properly maintained, regularly inspected, and operated safely.

• Order Fulfillment: Oversee timely and accurate order dispatch, collaborating closely with logistics and supply chain teams to meet customer requirements.

• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and team productivity.

• Expatriate Assignment: This role will be offered as an expatriate assignment based in an overseas location.

Qualifications:

Required:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory control systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge: Solid understanding of inventory management, order processing, and logistics best practices.

• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage conflicts, and foster a positive and productive work environment.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations and make timely, effective decisions.

Preferred:

• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP, or Six Sigma).

• Experience working in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
