Description
Position at First Sumiden Circuits, Inc.
- Bachelor's Degree, Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
- With at least 2 years work experience as supervisor in warehousing, final packing and logistics field managing cold storage, raw materials, chemicals, office supplies
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operational Oversight: Supervises all day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Final Packing Management: Directs final packing operations, ensuring products are packed safely, efficiently, and according to specific customer and quality standards (e.g., proper labeling, sealing, and palletization).
- Inventory Control: Implements and monitors inventory management systems, conduct regular cycle counts and physical audits, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Team Leadership: Leads, trains, and mentors warehouse and packing staff. Assign tasks, manage schedules, evaluate performance, and foster a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Conducts regular quality checks on packaged goods and incoming materials. Address and resolve any issues or customer complaints related to packing quality or quantity.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce all health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards) and company policies. Ensure the proper use and maintenance of equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Process Improvement: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean principles) to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain management, to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
