Receives products delivered to the branch, maintains inventory of goods, and implements good warehouse practices
Key Responsibilities
Receives and verifies delivered products as against delivery invoices.
Physically inspects the products for damage or breakage and files documents for ease of retrieval.
Manage and organize products in the stockroom (and in the selling area for self-service stores) according to the standard planogram and following First-in-first-out standards.
Implement security guidelines in the stockroom and store areas. Accountable for handling keys to the stockroom and restricting entry to authorized persons.
Pick and bag products ordered by dealers following packing standards.
Perform cycle count in coordination with the Branch Supervisor for reconciliation of any product variances and physical verification and counting of stocks once a month. Prepare and submit reports on time as requested by Supply Chain Management.
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
Graduate of any course or Grade 12 graduate with previous analogous work experience preferred.
Can manage basic Microsoft office applications on a computer
Good communications and interpersonal skills
Able and willing to do physical activities such as lifting product boxes and bagged products for Dealers.
